Patricia Gillies Outstanding Salsa Dance Instructor , dancer and performer .

Pat is a terrific Salsa dance instructor with a warm, knowledgeable and solid teaching style. Her many students appreciate her patient and engaging style of Salsa instruction.  Pat has learned from various instructors in the Toronto area as well as professional salsa dancers in Havana, Cuba.

Pat prefers to teach Salsa and Merengue, and specializes in Linear Style Salsa, Cuban Style Salsa and Casino Rueda from Beginners to Advanced. Pat and her partner Looey created the "Elements" system of teaching salsa and will have you up and dancing in no time!   Pat and Looey also made several instructional DVD's available on this website.

Salsa dance topics include: On 1, On the music, Spins, Simple but Stunning, Patterns, Footwork, Combinations, Turns, Dips, Spin Patterns, Performance Moves, Shines, Styling, Leader and Follower Steps, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha and more!

Pat teaches Salsa at the University of Waterloo, premier Salsa clubs like The Flying Dog, The Club; and at special events for companies that include TD Bank , RE/MAX; and at weddings, special events and charity functions.  She is also a founding member of the K-W Casino Rueda Club.

Music, PA and microphones are available for special events.
